The previous software that the Union County Sheriff’s Office used limited its capabilities and didn’t fit with the dispatch process. The new CAD system will interface with the county’s existing mapping software to increase efficiency and save the county money already invested in the mapping system.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office will be able to create agency-specific reports, analyze data, compile statistics and perform crime analysis with the software’s reporting tool.
“We are very excited about the services that Zuercher Technologies offered us as part of their standard maintenance agreement,” said 9-1-1 Coordinator Linda Mitchell. “Knowing that our system is going to be professionally managed and stay current in regards to industry requirements, all at no extra cost, was important to us.”
