Relm is one of three companies that received master agreements. The maximum total value of the master agreements is $1 million for all suppliers; Relm’s agreement has a one-year base period that commenced Jan. 29, 2013, and four one-year option periods for Harris County. The master agreements don’t specify or guarantee quantities of equipment to be purchased from any particular supplier.
“Relm initially provided approximately $2 million of P25 subscriber radios to Harris County last year,” said Relm President and CEO David Storey. “We are pleased and excited to enter into this master agreement and extend our relationship with Harris County, and are committed to maintaining the same high level of product quality and customer service established with our initial deliveries last year. While available funding presently caps product procurements under the master agreements at $1 million for all suppliers, we stand ready to meet the county’s additional needs when they arise.”
