Datron VHF Radio Receives P25 CAP Validation (6/12/12)
Datron World’s Guardian 2 VHF radio is Project 25 (P25) Compliance Assessment Program (CAP) validated.
P25 CAP is a voluntary program that allows P25 equipment suppliers to formally demonstrate their product compliance using a select group of P25 requirements. Successful completion of this testing validates that the equipment is in compliance and conformance with P25 standards including interoperability for use by federal, state and local emergency response agencies.
“Successful completion of this compliance testing is a critical step in providing our customers with radio equipment they can quickly and reliably deploy into their communications infrastructure,” said John Biljan, Datron director, LMR. “We are pleased to have reached this important milestone and can provide our customers with this independent and documented proof on the RKB.”
