TETRA Infrastructure Provider Partners with North American Dealers (6/13/12)
Damm Cellular Systems announced two North American distributors, one in the United States and one in Canada.
Damm selected Nielson Communications in Wisconsin as its exclusive partner on TETRA infrastructure. The partnership includes extensive education and training, enabling Nielson to service directly TETRA customers.
“Having partnered with Damm was for us the obvious choice as it has always been our strategy to secure access to technology that serves our end users in the very best way,” said Rick Nielson, managing director of Nielson Communications. “With Damm, we can now offer to customers looking for state-of-the-art digital communication technology at a competitive price the most reliable, flexible and scalable solution.”
For the Canadian market, Damm announced a partnership with Cartel Communication Systems. “Cartel is proud to have been selected in such a key role with Damm,” said Dave Sanche, president and CEO of Cartel Communication. “We are excited by the capabilities of the product range and are encouraged by the interest that has been expressed by those who we have the privilege of assisting in planning radio networks of the future.”
TETRA handset vendor Sepura also announced partnerships with Nielson and Cartel earlier this month.
