Sprint Plans LTE Launches in 5 Cities July 15 (6/28/12)
Sprint announced plans to launch Long Term Evolution (LTE) service in five metropolitan areas — Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio — July 15.
The carrier plans more market launches in 2012 to be announced later this year. By the end of 2013, Sprint expects to have largely completed the buildout of its LTE nationwide network covering 250 million people across the United States.
