RadioResource Media Group launched the second electronic book in the  MissionCritical Communications Educational Series. The free e-book covers the latest developments and background information on Project 25 (P25) technology.

The 129-page “P25: What’s Next for the Global Standard?” includes five sections covering P25 from various angles. Each section comprises between four and eight articles. The section titles are Standards Update, Phase 2 Deployments, International Deployments, Special Features, and Security and Vendor Compliance.

The book includes the latest data from the P25 Steering Committee, the P25 Technology Interest Group (PTIG), end users, vendor representatives, federal officials, consultants and others on the status of P25 standards, deployments and new features.
