IWCE Postponed Due to Coronavirus Outbreak

The International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), which was scheduled to take place March 30 – April 3 in Las Vegas, has been postponed due to concerns about the ongoing worldwide COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

A new date for the show has not yet been announced. Show officials said they hoped to announce a new date for the show shortly and would contact exhibitors and attendees with information regarding booth contracts and registrations.

“With the rapidly developing circumstances and in light of corporate travel considerations continuing to escalate, we’ve worked as quickly as possible to explore our options,” a statement from IWCE Show Director Stephanie McCall and General Manager Paul Caplan said. “Having spent the past year preparing for the event with our advisory boards, speakers, exhibitors and event partners, we’re genuinely disappointed not to be able to host you in three weeks, but the experience and safety of our community and everyone involved in the event continues to be our top priority.”

Prior to the announcement, multiple companies had pulled out of the event, citing employee health concerns in the face of the ongoing outbreak. Motorola Solutions also canceled its channel partner expo, which was scheduled for mid-March.

Attendee registrations. As well as exhibitor and sponsor programs, will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled event. Questions can be directed to iwceoperations@informa. Show officials said they hope to answer questions within 48 hours but there may be a delay due to a high volume of emails.
