Verizon Wireless and Sierra Wireless announced that the Sierra Wireless AirCard 595 PC card for EV-DO Revision A networks is now commercially available for use with Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess service. This is the first EV-DO Revision A-compatible PC card to launch on the Verizon Wireless network, and it is available online and through Verizon Wireless business customer sales channels. The card will be in Verizon Wireless communications stores by mid January. EV-DO Revision A, an enhancement to Verizon Wireless' current EV-DO network, will offer improved data speeds, particularly for users sending large files.
