The Project 25 (P25) Steering Committee unanimously elected George Crouch of South Carolina, one of the National Association of State Technology Directors (NASTD) representatives, as the new vice chair. Crouch replaced Jack Doane from Alabama.

Bradley Stoddard from Michigan was appointed by NASTD and confirmed by the P25 steering committee to serve as the second voting member of the steering committee representing NASTD.

Additionally, the steering committee confirmed the nomination of Richard (Alan) Massie of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to serve as the voting representative for the Department of Justice. Massie replaced Stan Causey of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

The steering committee also confirmed the appointment of Paul Gilbert, Texas Department of Transportation, as the vice chair of the P25 User Needs Subcommittee (UNS). This position has been vacant since Julio LaGuardia, Department of Justice (DOJ), was confirmed to serve as the chair after Scott Bradford from Montana resigned.
