PCTEL Expands TESSCO Relationship to Encompass RF Products (6/19/14)

PCTEL announced an expanded relationship with TESSCO Technologies that sees select PCTEL RF Solutions available through TESSCO. The products will help meet the wireless industry’s rising demand for comprehensive in-building testing and interference management.

The solutions specialize in products and services for the design, testing and optimization of today’s wireless communications networks. Recently, PCTEL focused on developing products that address in-building network testing and hunting throughput-robbing interference.

TESSCO is adding in-building testing and interference locating tools to a portfolio that already includes a variety of PCTEL Connected Solutions products. Connected Solutions has supplied TESSCO with antennas, towers and other assemblies for custom engineered site solutions since 2008.

“PCTEL and TESSCO have a strong working relationship,” said Faye Vorick, PCTEL vice president of business development, Connected Solutions. “Our RF Solutions provide valuable testing tools that help TESSCO enable best-in-class in-building coverage for its customers.”

TESSCO will offer three PCTEL in-building test products: the SeeGull IBflex scanning receiver combined with SeeHawk data collection tool and the SeeGull CW Transmitter. The products are designed for distributed antenna system (DAS) and small cell network optimization. TESSCO will also offer SeeWave, PCTEL’s interference locating system.
