NetworkOmni Multilingual Communications (NetworkOmni), a provider of oral interpretation, written translation, and language communication solutions, along with 911 Cares, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting emergency communications personnel, announced the NetworkOmni RESCUE Award, a recognition program for emergency call-center dispatchers and telephone interpreters. The program recognizes public-safety call takers and interpreters assisting foreign-born and non-English speaking citizens who need emergency assistance. NetworkOmni collaborates with trainers from 911 Cares' sister organization, Public Safety Training Consultants, to review calls with outstanding performance from emergency communications workers and interpreters.
