STI-CO awarded The State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego’s Advanced Wireless Systems Research Center (ADWISR) a $100,000 research grant to co-develop high-efficiency compact antennas for railway transportation systems, public-safety vehicles and more.

STI-CO said it was pleased to collaborate with the SUNY Research Foundation and its ADWISR Center. The company expects significant advances in its future development of new antenna technologies for the wireless world, a statement said.

The agreement calls for the collaborating researchers to disclose any new data, discoveries or inventions to the Research Foundation’s Technology Transfer Office for potential patent protection.
