Mantaro, Beeper Partner for Public-Safety Robotics Systems

Mantaro and Beeper Group entered into a letter of intent to further advance their products through the integration of their proprietary technologies. The partnership will allow the companies to better serve their public safety, first responder and commercial customers, a statement said.

U.S.-based Mantaro Networks has designed and manufactured telepresence and robotic systems since 2010. Mantaro’s robotic products are sold to and serve commercial business, healthcare, construction and law enforcement customers. Israeli firm Beeper Technologies specializes in the development and manufacture of wireless bonding technology modems on boards and related components for the wireless broadband communications market.

The companies made a strategic decision to leverage their individual technologies to enable wireless operators, national operations centers and broadcasters to provide high-speed, integrated video, voice and data on multiple platforms to police, first responders and other related mission-critical end users.

“This is a unique opportunity for Mantaro, as a U.S. company, to partner with an Israeli company with proven communications technology,” said Jeremy Parsons, Mantaro CEO. “The Beeper solution directly addresses many of challenges we face when designing our MantaroBot products for specific customer applications. I expect this collaboration will be a big step forward, as we solve these challenges, and integrate our technologies for our commercial, law enforcement and government customers.”

The companies expect to introduce new products and solutions with customers by the second quarter.
