Angola to Deploy US$31M Nationwide TETRA Network from Hytera

Hytera announced it will deliver a nationwide TETRA system to the Ministry of Interior of Angola. This turnkey project includes TETRA infrastructure, Long Term Evolution (LTE)-TETRA multimode radios and TETRA radios, and convergent dispatching systems. The contract value is around US$31 million.

As part of the initiative of modernizing the public security and safety by the Angolan government, police, firefighting, customs and other departments will use the new mission-critical communications system. Hytera’s LTE-TETRA convergence solution ensures highly resilient infrastructures for mission-critical users in the country and offers versatile features enabled by LTE technologies.
