Hytera Offers Communications Equipment After Chinese Earthquake

On 8 August, a devastating magnitude-7.0 earthquake struck Jiuzhaigou National Park in Sichuan province, China. In the post-disaster rescue operation, a Hytera Communications team was among the first to reach the disaster area, joining the operation to provide emergency radio communications for the professional rescue task forces and guarantee 24-hour support on site.

Hytera’s emergency radio communications solution comprises the E-pack100, the integrated Base Station (iBS) and a number of portable radios, improving the efficiency of the rescue operation and also effectively protected the rescue teams.
