Rave Mobile Safety Buys Canadian Emergency Notification Provider

Rave Mobile Safety acquired Emergency Response Management Services (ERMS), a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company based in Ontario. The acquisition enables Rave to bring its technology and services to the Canadian market, with emphasis on government agencies.

ERMS' emergency communications system is secure and reliable and includes a French language product and support used by most federal Canadian clients.

Given ERMS' brand recognition in Canada, it will become a business unit within Rave Mobile Safety and will keep the ERMS name. The companies will incorporate components of the Rave platform and ERMS' emergency notification system, ERMS Advantage.

"The ERMS team's experience and product knowledge will help us better serve the Canadian market," said Tom Axbey, president and CEO of Rave. "ERMS has a loyal and highly referenceable client base and is the leading emergency notification system provider of the Canadian federal government, making them an easy, logical choice to join the Rave family."

Rave Mobile Safety also launched the Rave 911 Suite in Worcester, Massachusetts, marking a 75 percent increase in Rave 911 Suite's population coverage during the past year in Massachusetts. With customer growth in local cities including Natick and Framingham, Rave solutions now protect more than 1 million people in the Bay State.
