Cambium Ships 1 Million Wireless Broadband Modules

Cambium Networks announced it shipped its one-millionth PMP 450 wireless broadband module. Launched in September 2012, the system has evolved to enable network operators to profitably extend networks geographically and in user density and data capacity.

Used in a variety of applications, including networking oilfields to electric grids and railroads on five continents, the product has connected unconnected people, places and things. Initially deployed in 5.8 GHz, the platform is now available in 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz, 3 GHz, 4.9 GHz, 5.1 GHz, 5.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz.
