Bravo Contracts Airbus for TETRA Network in Eastern Saudi Arabia
Monday, September 25, 2017 | Comments

Saudi radio communications operator Bravo contracted Airbus to renew the existing public-safety network in eastern Saudi Arabia. Airbus will deliver and deploy 150 TETRA base stations in the coming months.

Following its first-phase rollout during this year’s Hajj pilgrimage in the West region, the state-owned public safety operator expanded its cooperation with Airbus via the local reseller House of Invention (HOI).

Bravo, which is fully owned by Saudi Telecom Co., operates a separate network in parallel to that of the Ministry of the Interior, also known as Unified Secure Communication Network of Saudi Arabia (USeC). Both the Bravo network and USeC are based on TETRA technology.
