Radio IP Partners with Telecom Gears

Radio IP Software (Radio IP) signed a partnership agreement with Telecom Gears, an IT services and software company in Mexico City specializing in government and commercial projects. For Radio IP, with markets in North America, Southeast Asia and Australia, the agreement represents another step in its strategy to expand into South America.

“This will be a very profitable agreement for both parties and will spur IT development in both countries,” said Roch A. Tremblay, chief operating officer (COO) of Radio IP.

Radio IP is expanding its network by leveraging Telecom Gears’s extensive experience in telecommunications and its knowledge of the local market and clientele. In exchange, the Mexican company will benefit from Radio IP’s experience in providing mobile security services to its clients, including those responsible for public safety.

The partnership is part of Radio IP’s ongoing international development strategy. “We worked with the trade commissioners at the Canadian Embassy to Mexico and with the Quebec Government Office in Mexico City to garner support for this agreement,” Tremblay said. “Everyone’s contributions were essential to putting this partnership together.”
