EWA Launches Cevo Go

The Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) launched Cevo Go, new mobile application that allows users to search and receive certified spectrum frequencies using a mobile device.

“This capability is more revolutionary than anything we’ve ever done,” said EWA CEO Mark Crosby. “It’s instant coordination in your phone.”

Users fill out information through the application, and the app sends the users possible frequencies. The user then confirms or rejects the frequencies, pays the fees and receives the certified frequencies, which will then be sent to the FCC to be finalized.

Crosby said it takes less than one minute to submit a frequency request. He said the product is not designed for a statewide public-safety system, but “for 85 percent of applications, Cevo Go will handle it,” he said.
