Loudoun County, Virginia, selected Federal Engineering to complete a consolidation study for the county’s emergency communications center.

Federal Engineering will evaluate, benchmark and provide best practices information pertaining to the emergency communications and public-safety dispatch operations, associated policies and implementation methods in Northern Virginia and other comparable jurisdictions.

This project will include a comprehensive review and evaluation of Loudoun County’s current emergency communications and public-safety dispatch operations.

The firm will also review the town of Leesburg’s police dispatch operations and make recommendations on the feasibility of consolidating the town’s operations into the county’s public-safety dispatch system, including within current facilities and infrastructure. Federal Engineering will also provide staffing recommendations for implementing any changes to the organizational model arising from the study.
