Hytera Mobilfunk Expands TETRA Network in Indonesia
Wednesday, January 03, 2018 | Comments

Together with Rohde & Schwarz Indonesia, Hytera Mobilfunk expanded the existing radio network of an Indonesian government agency.

The focus of the network expansion was to provide a reliable radio network for the use of handheld radio devices in the area and provide greater range on the Hytera TETRA radio system for the Jakarta metropolitan area.

In addition, the Hytera application PTTconnect allows Indonesian government employees to contact colleagues on their own TETRA radio network from far away and vice versa. Employees on site can securely reach decision-makers, regardless of where they happen to be at the time of the call with their smartphones.

"We are very proud to be able to assist Indonesian government agencies with our innovative solutions and therefore to make a contribution to improving security in the city," said Frank Pauer, deputy chief sales officer (CSO) at Hytera Mobilfunk.
