Hytera Mobilfunk has expanded its presence in Poland providing the complete Hytera portfolio and consulting advice.

Hytera Mobilfunk from Germany is established as a competence and development center for TETRA infrastructure. All TETRA infrastructure components such as base stations, switching units and network management software are developed and tested in Germany.

The company is approved for the distribution and use of TEA2 encrypted components — used in infrastructure and terminal equipment — from Germany into Europe. TEA2 is crucial for use in authorities and governmental institutions in the Schengen area, including Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

Sepura from Great Britain, as a new member of the global Hytera company, is supplying TETRA radios to the portfolio. “By this, we pool our large experience in Poland and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe, primarily in the field of public safety and public transport, under one roof,” said Marcin Białczak, Hytera Mobilfunk sales director, Central and Eastern Europe.
