NPSTC Approves Final 3 Radio Interoperability Best Practices Reports

The National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) approved the final three radio interoperability best practices at its Jan. 9 meeting. This last set of reports finalizes the 13 reports of the radio interoperability best practices statements, completing the initial set of recommendations by the radio interoperability best practices working group.

These 13 documents and the Radio Interoperability Best Practices Master Report will be published in one document.

The new reports include “Best Practice #11 – Managing Encryption for Interoperability Resources,” “Best Practice #12 – Channel Assignment in High Risk Environments” and “Best Practice #13 – Interoperability Resource Information – Storage and Access.”
