BearCom Names Kroh CEO, Delaney Joins Firm

BearCom Group announced that Mark Kroh, previously the president, assumed the role of CEO. The change in title is consistent with the initiatives the company instituted two years ago when Kroh joined BearCom, a statement said.

“I am excited to be passing the baton to Mark, as he has clearly demonstrated his ability to execute on our growth strategies, leading our incredible team and having the vision for BearCom’s future strategic plans,” said former BearCom CEO Jerry Denham. “Mark’s appointment creates a stronger organization with a clear delineation of roles and responsibilities.”

Denham will serve as executive chairman, with an increased focus on strategy and acquisitions. He will remain engaged with the leadership team and board of directors. The BearCom executive management team will remain intact and will report directly to Kroh.

In addition, Dan Delaney joined the company in the newly created role of manufacturer’s representative (MR) corporate director.

“The key state and local government agencies served in the MR channel are an increasingly significant part of our growth initiatives,” Kroh said. “Having built an impressive career serving this marketplace, Dan brings to BearCom the expertise and skill sets needed to help increase our business in this important segment.”

Delaney has a 33-year tenure with Motorola Solutions. In his last role, Dan handled some of Motorola’s largest opportunities across the country while serving as vice president and director of strategic projects. He will help uncover new opportunities and deliver and execute on large MR pursuits.
