LMCC Elects New Board of Directors, Smith Named President

The membership of the Land Mobile Communications Council (LMCC) elected its board of directors during its annual meeting April 18 in Washington, D.C.

David Smith with Forest Industries Telecommunications was named president, and Utilities Technology Council’s (UTC) Brett Kilbourne is vice president. LMCC secretary/treasurer is Mark Crosby with the Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA).

Also elected to the board of directors as at-large members were Doug Aiken with the International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA), Jim Goldstein with the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), and Farokh Latif with the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International.
