Nedaa, the Dubai government security networks provider, honored Airbus during a ceremony in Dubai attended by both parties’ top executives.

Nedaa praised Airbus for its support for its specialized telecommunications projects and commitment to public safety in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by optimizing TETRA technology. Prioritizing the well-being of local communities and promoting continuous connectivity are among the two organizations’ shared objectives in line with Dubai Strategy 2021 and in response to the goal of UAE Centennial 2071 to make the Emirates one of the best countries in the world. Honoring Airbus formed part of Nedaa’s strategy to commend and support its partners’ innovative, state-of-the-art, and secure solutions that aim to protect all segments of the community.

“Our partnership with them is an integral part of our mission to instill innovation and creativity within our field to help build an integrated future driven by excellent leadership,” said H.E. Mansoor Bu Osaiba, CEO of Nedaa. “We are delighted to recognize Airbus, one of our strategic partners in Dubai, for its continued commitment and for their significant contributions to our continuing success in the field.”

The partnership between both parties demonstrates the increasing need for professional mobile radio (PMR) systems in the country and the local market’s increasing preference for TETRA technology to cope with growing demand for telecommunications technology, a statement said.

Selim Bouri, Airbus vice president head of region, Middle East, North Africa and Asia Pacific for secure land communications at Airbus, attended the event.
