Monday, May 21, 2018 | Comments

The town of Westport, Connecticut, awarded Federal Engineering a contract to examine and make recommendations regarding the proposed consolidation and relocation of the Westport and town of Fairfield emergency communications center.

The project goals include relocation of the existing emergency communications centers to a new location and consolidation of the Fairfield Emergency Communications Center, Westport Police Dispatch Center and Westport Fire Department Dispatch Center into one emergency communications center serving both communities.

Federal Engineering will also help develop an oversight body and management structure that will meet the needs of the new, consolidated center and leverage advances in public-safety technology to improve operations.
