Comtech Telecommunications announced three orders, ranging from $2 million to $14 million, that its command and control technologies group received during the third quarter.

The firm received a contract from a major U.S. prime contractor for the supply of multiple XY tracking antennas in support of a critical U.S. government program.

“We are pleased to support our prime contractor with our extensive experience and proven design capability of our cost-effective, high performance XY antenna pedestal technology,” said Fred Kornberg, Comtech president and CEO.

The company also received an additional $13.8 million from the U.S. Army to provide ongoing sustainment services for personnel in the field who require quick and mobile satellite communication terminals.

Additionally, Comtech received orders totaling $14.2 million from the Army to provide satellite terminals and networking equipment.

“We are pleased that we have the opportunity to provide this mission essential equipment,” said Kornberg. “We believe this contract award is a testament to the U.S. Army’s confidence in Comtech’s ability to meet their operational needs. We look forward to receiving additional orders from this important customer.”
