Basecamp Connect (BCC) signed a distribution agreement with Navair Technologies to enhance its public-safety offering. BCC is a rapidly deployable communications solution that creates a local network, interconnects radios and automates network failovers to provide phone, internet and radio interoperability.

“This partnership with Navair Technologies bolsters our commitment to providing the latest rapidly deployable gateway solution to our customers within specific markets across Canada,” said Frank Raveneau, vice president of sales for BCC. “We look forward to working together with Navair Technologies in providing a unique interoperable communications solution to those in need across Canada.”

BCC takes any available network to provide users a wireless or cabled internet access without any interruption. The radio gateway allows users to interconnect several agency networks such as municipal, state, federal, public-safety and military radios. Users can obtain interoperable communications among devices and networks with the mobile communications system.

The single inbound phone number allows all the first responders on an emergency to communicate without knowing the number of every responder, increasing the efficiency of the operation.

Navair is a distributor of service and maintenance test and measurement solutions for the avionics, wireless, infrastructure and public-safety marketplace in Canada.
