Servicio di Telecomunicacion di Aruba (SETAR), a service provider in Aruba, contracted Rohill to refresh the switching of its Rohill TETRA network. The network for SETAR was installed in 2005 and expanded several times during the past decade. This refreshment includes all switching of its TetraNode system, including TNX’s and server platforms.

Three years ago, the TETRA network was upgraded, including replacing all base station systems. With the switching refresh, the entire SETAR network will be equipped with the latest-generation equipment, ensuring the network is again ready for the future.

“We are very pleased with the refreshment of our TetraNode system,” said Raul Ponson, chief technical officer (CTO) at SETAR. “With TETRA still as the preferred solution for mission-critical voice communications, this refreshment allows us to continue to rely on our future-proof TETRA system in the next years.”
