Two Way Direct Named AT&T FirstNet Master Dealer

Wireless communications company Two Way Direct announced it is an AT&T FirstNet master dealer. The company is the first publicly announced master dealer that is not a product manufacturer.

As a master dealer, Two Way Direct approves other companies to be authorized First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) dealers and can issue commissions to dealers on activations and monthly service revenue. The company enables dealers to sell AT&T and FirstNet solutions through a co-sell model. Two Way Direct, based in Carlsbad, California, engages with FirstNet consultants, dealers and AT&T direct sellers to ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date information.

FirstNet solutions under the program include but are not limited to mobile devices, FirstNet-certified apps, Enhanced Push-to-Talk (EPTT), LMR to Long Term Evolution (LTE) interoperability, modems, routers, rugged computers, tablets, surveillance cameras, video management, drones, livestreaming body cameras and license plate readers from various suppliers.

“We’re really in a unique position to enable dealers to sell tailored FirstNet solutions to their customers,” said Two Way Direct CEO Brandon Ocampo. “There’s no single brand or product that can offer a complete solution, and that is why we are not limited by any one brand. Our program ensures public safety, first responders, EMS, utilities, schools and other eligible agencies are getting the best solutions from the dealers they already know and trust.”

In June, Motorola Solutions and Panasonic announced their participation in the FirstNet dealer program.
