FirstNet Connections Reach 4M, AT&T Announces Financial Results
PSBTA Holds First FirstNet Users’ Conference
Island Tech Services (ITS), a provider of technology, mobility and vehicle solutions based in Ronkonkoma, New York, joined the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) dealer program through the AT&T alliance channel.
As a FirstNet dealer, ITS can provide FirstNet services to public-safety customers. AT&T and FirstNet are giving this “exclusive ability to a select group of dealers and solution providers with deep knowledge of public safety,” a statement said.
“Enabling Island Tech Services (ITS) to equip first responders with FirstNet service is a great way to meet public safety where they are,” said Stacy Schwartz, vice president, AT&T Public Safety & FirstNet. “The FirstNet dealer program makes it easy for public-safety agencies to work with the solution providers they know and trust — like ITS — to sign up for FirstNet service.”
AT&T and the FirstNet Authority closely regulate which indirect sellers are approved to promote, market and co-sell FirstNet. ITS was selected for its focus on mobility solutions for public-safety agencies.
California's Two Way Direct recently announced it is an AT&T FirstNet master dealer.
