The Project 25 Technology Interest Group (PTIG) held its annual meeting Aug. 5 and elected a board of directors and officers. In addition, console supplier CSS-Mindshare joined PTIG.

New on the board is Justin Evans, radio systems manager for Montgomery County (Texas) Hospital District, and Mark Ketchum, communications system manager for the city of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Jeremy Elder, product line manager for systems infrastructure for Harris, is a new commercial member. Eric Linsley and Todd Perdieu departed the PTIG board.

Cindy Cast was re-elected as PTIG chairwoman. Cast serves as the radio systems manager in the IT Service Department, Radio Communication Services Division of Miami-Dade County in Florida.

The other PTIG officers were also re-elected for additional terms. Jim Holthaus from BK Technologies remains vice chair, Chris Lougee from 5x9 Communications remains treasurer, and Andy Davis from Motorola Solutions is secretary.

Cheryl Giggetts of CTA Consultants was ratified as a new treasurer elect. In this role she will spend a transition year working with Lougee and is expected to take on the full responsibilities of PTIG treasurer when Chris steps down in August 2019.

Separately, CSS Mindshare, located in Lincoln, Nebraska, joined PTIG. Its founding owners have been in the two-way radio dispatch markets since the mid-1990s and dispatch in particular since the late 90s. CSS has several product lines that are actively supported by its staff of engineering and manufacturing personnel. A network of trained Mindshare dealers is available to provide local sales, implementation and maintenance support services.
