Mobile Communications America, (MCA), a Motorola Solutions channel partner in the Southeast, completed the acquisition of Gately Communication Co. (GCC). Financial details were not released.

GCC has four locations joining the MCA footprint — Hampton and Chesapeake, Virginia, and Kill Devil Hills and Kinston, North Carolina. Most operations involving fabrication, assembly, warehousing, engineering and pre-staging are in GCC’s 17,000-square-foot facility in Hampton. GCC has a diverse customer base, including military, federal government, state and local government, education, healthcare, industrial and commercial accounts.

GCC has more than 55 employees, who will continue to serve GCC customers as part of MCA.

The acquisition of GCC is an example of MCA’s strategic efforts to expand its solutions portfolio, engineering teams and customer service footprint throughout the Southeast. The acquisition strengthens MCA’s commitment to providing a full solution portfolio and expanding service capabilities throughout the region, the company said.

In July, MCA purchased Myrtle Beach Communications (MBC).
