Rohill to Supply TETRA Network in Brazilian City
Friday, October 05, 2018 | Comments

Rohill will supply TETRA radio communications systems to Osasco municipality in São Paulo State, Brazil.

ARC, a Brazilian traffic engineering and system integrator company, contracted Rohill for the network. ARC has developed a new public-safety technology service platform called PROJETO SEG SIIM (Sistema Integrado de Inteligência para Municípios – Inteligent and Integrated System for Municipalities). This service platform provides an integrated solution for five services using closed-circuit TV (CCTV), radio communications, traffic control, telemetry and electronic border control. These five services are integrated into one single operational software platform.

Rohill’s TetraNode solution will be integrated on the main platform to provide the critical communications, GPS and dispatch services.

With a population of around 700,000, Osasco is among the world's most dense cities, similar in density to Tokyo and New York City.
