Wednesday, October 17, 2018 | Comments

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is seeking nominations and expressions of interest for an open position on the Project 25 (P25) Compliance Assessment Program (CAP) Advisory Panel (AP). The P25 CAP AP holds quarterly meetings with the public on topics related to P25 CAP.

Responses are due Oct. 31.

Morton Leifer, a member of the P25 CAP Advisory Panel, passed away earlier this month. Leifer was an Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International local advisor-frequency coordinator for several years in New York and was named frequency advisor of the year for 2015, APCO said. He was also co-chair of regional planning committee (RPC)-8.

More information on the nomination process and P25 CAP is here.
