ETELM Partners for LTE Infrastructure for Public Safety

ETELM announced a strategic partnership with Halys and ENENSYS to provide a full end-to-end infrastructure solution that will fill the operational requirements of tactical Long Term Evolution (LTE) deployments.

The partnership’s solution addresses the challenges that professional mobile radio (PMR) users are facing when requiring autonomous private LTE deployments, as well as providing a solution for communications, surveillance, maintenance, telemetry, data flow and video streaming, a statement said.

The solution allows for dynamic allocation of the bandwidth in broadcast situations to optimize spectrum usage and works in the latest public protection and disaster response (PPDR) band 68. All the components for successful operations, from radio to applications, are included, and it can be used in TETRA and LTE environments. The solution is compliant with Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Release 13 and meets the requirements of users in a wide range of sectors.

ENENSYS Technologies designs and manufactures professional equipment and software enabling efficient video delivery over broadcast and telecom networks. ENENSYS provides evolved multimedia broadcast multicast services (eMBMS) solutions compatible with 3GPP standards.
