Mission Critical Electronics Buys Battery Firm Xantrex

Mission Critical Electronics is buying Xantrex, a power electronic products and systems manufacturer, which was part of the solar activity of Schneider Electric.

Financial details of the transaction are not disclosed.

Mission Critical Electronics (MCE) designs, manufactures and distributes electronic power products that fit a variety of mission-critical applications in emergency and specialty vehicles, marine, public safety, wireless networks, industrial power, mobile communications and mobile computing. MCE companies operate under the brands Kussmaul Electronics, Newmar Power, ASEA Power Systems, Power Products and American Battery Charging.
