FCC Outlines Reporting Systems Still Available During Shutdown
Friday, January 04, 2019 | Comments

The FCC said that during the lapse in federal funding, several reporting systems will remain available.

The systems include the Network Outage Reporting System (NORS), Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS), Public Safety Support Center (PSSC), Licensing Management System (LMS), Consolidated Database System (CDBS), Electronic Comment Filing System (ECFS), Universal Licensing System (ULS), Electronic Document Management System (EDOCS), Auctions Public Reporting System (PRS), Auction Application System, Auction Bidding System, Daily Digest, and Commission Online Registration System (CORES). All other FCC electronic filing and database systems will be unavailable to the public until normal agency operations resume.

In addition, the commission’s filing window and mail operations will be open only for the purpose of receiving filings related to spectrum auction activities. The FCC will extend the normal filing deadlines so that all submissions that would be due during a suspension of operations, including submissions otherwise due Jan. 3, will be due on the second day of normal operations.

Any special temporary authority (STA) expiring during the suspension of regular FCC operations are extended to the day after regular commission operations resume except to the extent that such STA relates to the post-incentive auction transition or other activities authorized.

The full notice is here.
