The Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies (iCERT) added Eventide to its membership. Eventide is a provider of advanced recording solutions for critical communication centers in public safety, hospitals, airlines, utilities and other mission-critical applications in more than 50 countries worldwide.

“We are pleased to be a member of iCERT and to contribute to iCERT’s mission,” said Richard VanTieghem, division president at Eventide. “Eventide’s NexLog IP-based communications recorders and software are specifically designed for mission-critical 24/7 operation in dispatch, emergency call-taking and critical infrastructure environments.”

Since being established in 2005, iCERT has continued to strengthen its representation of commercial public-safety companies, wireless carriers and related organizations on public policy issues impacting emergency response by adding industry leaders such as Eventide to its membership.

“Each new iCERT member offers a unique perspective on using technology to advance public safety,” said Kim Robert Scovill, iCERT executive director. “Establishing, maintaining and growing relationships among key technology company leaders — the members of iCERT — is an important element of iCERT’s vision. We look forward to Eventide’s participation in our mission to leverage new technologies in the public safety sector.”
