DHS Releases Information Sharing Self-Assessment Tool for Public Safety
Thursday, March 07, 2019 | Comments

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science & Technology Directorate(S&T) highlighted the Information Sharing Assessment Tool (ISAT), an easy-to-use, free self-assessment tool for first responders.

Developed in coordination with public-safety practitioners representing multiple disciplines across the government, ISAT allows the public-safety community to pinpoint their information sharing capabilities and gaps in 20 minutes or less, better understand their progress and achievements, and facilitate interagency information sharing discussions among mutual-aid partners.

“The ISAT is designed to pinpoint our most critical information sharing issues,” said DHS S&T Program Manager Ron Langhelm. “We look forward to helping members of the public-safety community use the tool to improve their communications capabilities.”
