Sepura, in partnership with Hytera subsidiary Teltronic, was awarded a contract by the authority of the state of Goiás, Brazil, to supply TETRA radios to the local police forces.

The police forces in Goiás state will deploy a fleet of more than 2,000 Sepura portable radios, alongside further radios from the Hytera range. The radios will provide the police force with a powerful radio featuring the latest in TETRA technology, presented in a compact form.

The radios provide users with outstanding audio, extended RF range, water porting technology for use in extended rain and lower cost of ownership.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to continue serving Goiás Police with Sepura’s state-of-the-art TETRA radios,” said Paulo Ferrao, deputy general manager of Hytera Brazil. “The devices will ensure that the users have the best quality radios to support their operations moving forwards.”
