Panorama Antennas announced charitable donations totalling £10,000 (US$13,15) in 2018 to two charities to support emergency services. The donations will fund emergency service personnel who were injured in the line of duty and London’s Air Ambulance, a helicopter emergency service dedicated to responding to serious trauma emergencies in and around London.

Blue Lamp Foundation, founded by the late PC David Rathband who was shot and blinded while on duty with Northumbria Police in 2010, provides financial aid to cover unexpected costs of emergency services personnel who were injured in the line of duty.

London’s Air Ambulance charity was founded in 1989. The service performs advanced medical interventions at the scene of the incident in life-threatening, time-critical situations.

“As a leading antenna supplier to public-safety organisations around the world, we work closely with emergency services and all members of ambulance, police and fire personnel, who put the protection of others before their own safety, have been a huge source of pride and inspiration to us all,” said Victoria Wilson, human resources director of Panorama Antennas. “Giving back to community and being a good corporate citizen have always been part of the fabric of our business, and we will continue to make donations to support worthy causes that are close to our heart.”
