Lauttamus Communications, a mobile communications company headquartered in West Virginia, acquired Tri-City Communications, a provider of two-way radios, mobile video systems, wide-area network coverage and electronic solutions for key health, government and corporate clients.

Based in Barberton, Ohio, Tri-City provides emergency services products to mission-critical customers including radio communications, custom engineering and professional services and has been in operation nearly 50 years.

“I am pleased to be able to sell my business to a top-notch company like Lauttamus, and I also wanted to sell to a company that I knew would take care of our customers,” said Ann Sutton, representative, Tri-City Communications.

Last year, Lauttamus purchased Amos Security, and in 2017, it acquired Interstate Communications.

“The acquisition of successful regional companies like Tri-City helps us to continue our expansion in key growth markets,” said Paul Lauttamus, president, Lauttamus Communications. “With this acquisition, Lauttamus will now provide services to customers in 32 states. Gary Sutton grew this business by focusing on customer service and customized electronic solutions. The Tri-City team is a welcome addition to the Lauttamus family of companies and brings us outstanding communications and security expertise, in addition to expanded resources.”
