3 Companies Honored at App Challenge in Sweden

Airbus announced the top three winners of its Critical App Challenge, held last month in Stockholm, for the company’s device.

Mesensei offers a decentralized platform for private social media communications and decentralized data ownership. Dottli collects and shares data on end users by using sensors, and Ansur is a secure application that aims to reduce emergency response time for mission-critical interventions by proposing an option that handles visual situational awareness data by processing high-resolution imagery.

Eleven professional application developer companies, primarily from Nordic countries, demonstrated their technology at the event. Seven customers and end users from various industries and scopes of use critiqued the applications. The innovative aspect, as well as the user experience on behalf of public-safety and mission-critical professionals, were key evaluation criteria.

Participants had to take into account the use of internet of things (IoT), data analytics and artificial intelligence to propose unique ways to retrieve data, as well as the means of processing and exploiting that same data.
