Korea Safe-Net Forum will host its fifth annual conference with a focus on public-safety technologies and applications 23 October in Seoul, South Korea. Hundreds of government administrators, network operators, public-safety Long Term Evolution (LTE) users, engineers, vendors and technology officials will participate in the event.
South Korean speakers include JinHong Sim, director general, Safe-Net project of MOIS; YoungMin Yang, general manager, LTE-railway project of Korea Rail Network Authority; and Woo-Seong Shim, principal researcher, LTE-maritime project of Korea Research Institute. In addition, Jeanette Kennedy, government affairs for the U.S. First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet); Sarah Wade-Apicella with United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR); Yousif Al Ali, head of technical and IT affairs for Nedaa in the United Arab Emirates (UAE); Tony Gray, chief executive of TCCA; and several executives with suppliers will also attend.
