Cape May County, New Jersey, hired V-COMM to help expand the county’s 700 megahertz (MHz) Project 25 (P25) system in conjunction with New Jersey’s Public Safety Interoperable Communications (PSIC) network.

“V-COMM is providing the advice and direction we’ve been looking for to properly manage and improve public-safety communications for both the first responders and residents of Cape May County and beyond,” said Martin Pagliughi, emergency management coordinator for Cape May County.

In addition to improving existing sites around the county, V-COMM will oversee the development and installation of two new tower sites to enhance its countywide public-safety radio communications system. The system will serve first responders locally and provide statewide interoperability.

“We are excited to provide an enhanced level of interoperability communications for Cape May County,” said Dominic Villecco, president of V-COMM. “The county is in capable hands with our team’s extensive knowledge of public safety communications.”
