The local security department of Uzbekistan adopted high-level security measures to ensure the smooth running of the event, including two-way radio communications from Hytera. Hytera’s PD785 digital portable two-way radio was adopted to secure the communications during the SCO event. The radio delivers superior voice under narrowband codec and digital error-correction technologies, and provides data services including private and group message. The radio also features analog scrambling and digital encryption using advanced encryption standard (AES) and ARCFOUR (ARC4) encryption methodology.
In addition to securing the SCO event, Hytera has provided professional and private communications for Uzbekistan government departments, railway, metro, airport, business and other industrial customers for many years. In 2015, Hytera opened an office in Tashkent.
