RCMP Plans P25 Modernization Project for V Division
Wednesday, December 04, 2019 | Comments

InterTalk will work as a subcontractor for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) V Division Radio Modernization project. The project is for a new Project 25 (P25) mission-critical communications system.

The plans for the project are built around a high-availability and fault-tolerant P25 digital radio network. The RCMP V Division currently operates a radio system that the serves mission-critical communications needs of RCMP members in 25 remote communities in northern Canada. The new solution will provide RCMP in these communities seamless conventional and trunked P25 talkgroup interoperability and cost-effective desktop operations consoles with integrated mapping.

InterTalk will support Cartel Communication Systems and work alongside Etherstack, TASC Systems and Eventide on the project. The companies have decades of combined experience in mission-critical communications.
